Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Overview
Items and content listed on 3DPrintMe must comply with law and policy. The categories below are prohibited and may result in listing removal or account enforcement.
2. Prohibited Categories
- Physical weapons, weapon components, suppressors, silencers, explosives, and ammunition. This category also expressly prohibits any digital file (including STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP, IGES, GCODE, CAD, and any other model, slicer, or print-ready file) that depicts, encodes, or is intended to produce a firearm, a firearm frame or receiver (including 80%, partial, or unfinished frames or receivers), a suppressor or silencer, an auto-sear, a machine-gun conversion device (including "Glock switches," "drop-in auto sears," forced-reset triggers, or similar devices), an undetectable firearm, a firearm capable of evading metal detection or X-ray screening, ammunition, an explosive, or any major functional component of any of the foregoing. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the file is described as a model, prop, replica, art piece, or for educational purposes, and regardless of whether the resulting item would be lawful to make or possess in the user's jurisdiction.
- Counterfeit, trademark-infringing, or otherwise IP-infringing products or files.
- Illegal drug paraphernalia or items intended to facilitate unlawful activity.
- Hate, extremist, violent, exploitative, or doxxing-related content.
- Unlawful surveillance/spyware hardware or hidden-recording devices.
- Medical/regulated devices sold without legal authorization or compliance.
- Food-contact or children's safety products without required compliance claims support.
- Listings that materially misrepresent item capabilities, origin, or safety.
3. Export-Control and Restricted Technical Data
Content subject to U.S. export controls, including any technical data, software, or model file controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or the regulations of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), is prohibited. Sellers may not list, upload, transmit, or download any file that is, or that the seller has reason to believe is, controlled under those regimes, regardless of whether the seller believes a license or exemption may be available. Sellers are solely responsible for export classification of their own content.
4. Enforcement
3DPrintMe may, in its sole discretion and at any time, remove listings, restrict or suspend accounts, hold or claw back payouts, freeze reserves, or terminate accounts for any violation or suspected violation of this Policy, the Terms of Use, the Seller Agreement, the DMCA Policy, the Content Policy, or applicable law. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent removal from the Platform without refund of fees. 3DPrintMe may also report violations to law enforcement and to relevant regulators.
