Payment & Refund Policy

Accepted Payment Methods

3DPrintMe accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed securely through Stripe.

How Payments Work

When you place an order, your payment is immediately authorized and held in escrow. The seller does not receive funds until one of the following occurs:

  • You confirm delivery of your order, or
  • 14 days elapse after the expected delivery date without a dispute being opened.

Pricing

All prices displayed are in US dollars and include any applicable platform fees charged to buyers. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations on earnings.

Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full refund in the following situations:

  • The order was cancelled before the seller shipped the item.
  • The item was not received and tracking confirms non-delivery.
  • The item received is significantly not as described.
  • A dispute was opened and resolved in your favor by our team.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind after the seller has shipped the item.
  • Minor natural variations between listing photos and the actual 3D-printed product.
  • Disputes opened more than 14 days after the expected delivery date.
  • Custom or bespoke items where the product matches the agreed specifications.

Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Stripe processing times may vary by bank or card issuer. Platform fees are non-refundable unless the refund is due to seller non-fulfillment.

Order Cancellations

Buyers may request cancellation before the seller ships. If the seller accepts, a full refund is issued. Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is not possible — use the dispute process instead.

Chargebacks

We encourage you to use our built-in dispute process before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension. We cooperate with card issuers and may contest wrongful chargebacks with evidence of delivery.

Seller Payouts

Seller payouts are processed via Stripe Connect. After funds are released from escrow, Stripe transfers earnings to the seller's bank account on their standard payout schedule (typically 2–5 business days). 3DPrintMe deducts its platform fee before payout.
